As you all know, last year I had the opportunity to travel to Kenya to help build schools for children living in the slums of Nairobi. I have attempted to express here on Dopey LaRue all that this trip has meant to me, and I think I have been able to give a glimpse of the significance this experience has had on my life. Kenya now has a large part of my heart and I dream of going back every day. Since I initially started writing about Kenya and World of Difference, several people have asked me how they can get involved. WELL! World of Difference is now planning their 2010 expeditions and would LOVE for you to join them! I encourage everyone to at least check it out and think about going. It is two weeks of your life you won’t regret and will cherish forever – that is the Dopey Promise!
